Videocon Group through its off shore entity has acquired Thomson's colour picture tube manufacturing business for euro 240 million.The group proposes to fund the acquistion on stand-alone basis by accessing domestic international debt/equity market, Videcon International informed the BSE today.The company holds 19% equity in the offshore acquisition vehicle.Thomson will put euro 15 million in the equity capital of the company, subject to all necessary approval, it added.
