The board of directors of Vimta Labs, which met today, approved a proposal to raise up to Rs 125 crore from the international market to fund expansion plans.According to a release issued by the company to the BSE today, the first phase of the expansion plan is nearing completion at Genome Valley. "Trial operations will commence in February, and the formal inauguration is expected in March," the release added.The board meeting also approved a proposal to split the existing equity shares of the company of Rs 10 each into five equity shares of Rs 2 each, subject to shareholders approval, the release said.
