With the memorandumof understanding (MoU), Viom will be able to reduce energy consumption by about 50% in 62 sites initially as the model project will implemented at these sites across India.

According to NEDO, there will be a reduction of about 10 lakh kilolitres of diesel if its system is replicated all the four lakh telecom towers in India."Viom Networks and NEDO have collaborated to explore newer avenues of bringing greener energy solutions to telecom infrastructure sector.
