Suresh Kumar, Operations Director - South, Vodafone India said that South India has key economic and educational hubs with a significant percentage of population comprising of working professionals, students, migrant labourers, businessmen, traders, drivers who frequently travel between the five south states.
To avoid incurring roaming charges, most of them tend to use dual or multiple SIMs. Having closely studied these customer usage patterns, Vodafone has designed the 'One Rate, One South' pack for the benefit of 35 million Vodafone prepaid customers across the five states, empowering them to use one number, without worrying about any roaming rates.
