"Vodafone pre-paid customers will be able to receive incoming calls while roaming on Vodafone network at 30 paise per minute across the country. Outgoing call rates are highly competitive at 1.5 paise per second for all local and STD calls, while roaming or at home," the company said in a statement.
In order to avail the new rates, subscribers need to recharge with roaming packs in the range of Rs 26 to Rs 47.

"The price point for the new national roaming plan varies from state to state and ranges between Rs 26 to Rs 47," the statement said.
The standard roaming rate is Re 1 per minute for incoming calls and Rs 1.50 per minute for STD outgoing calls.
"We are pleased to present this new scheme, empowering our pre-paid customers with better value in terms of tariff and location options," Vodafone India Chief Commercial Officer Vivek Mathur said.
In Delhi, the price points are Rs 21 and Rs 42.
The new packs, are, however, not available in Himachal Pradesh, Odisha and Jammu and Kashmir circles, it added.
The company said standard rates will be applicable for SMS, data roaming and ISD roaming.
"The plans come with a roaming incoming benefit of 30 days and tariff validity of 180 days," it added.
