Videsh Sanchar Nigam (VSNL) and Gujarat University have joined hands for a major e-learning initiative.According to a release issued by VSNL to the BSE today, Gujarat University, through Tata Indicom Broadband, has wired up the campus by providing hundreds of broadband connections and has set up a students Internet access centre in the campus.Shashi Kalathil, president (broadband and retail business unit) of VSNL, said: "In an era of rapidly evolving technological change, knowledge and the ability to access it fast is often the key to success. Through this initiative, we hope to empower students in their quest for knowledge."
