Drug firm Wanbury Ltd today reported a standalone net profit of Rs 14.49 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2010, against a loss of Rs 34.9 crore in the corresponding period a year ago.
The company said total earnings for the fourth quarter of the current fiscal stood at around Rs 92.5 crore, a growth of over 10 per cent, as against Rs 84.01 crore in the corresponding period a year ago, Wanbury said in a filing to the BSE.
For the financial year ended March, 2010, the company's standalone net sales stood at Rs 351.10 crore, with a net profit of Rs 29.92 crore.
