Warburg Pincus invests $100 mn in NDR Group

Chennai-based logistics service provider NDR Group (NDR) announced that global private equity firm Warburg Pincus is investing $100 million for a minority stake in its flagship company, Continental Warehousing Corporation (Nhava Seva) Limited (CWCNSL).

CWCNSL will develop rail-linked inland container depots at various locations across the country. Certain existing minority investors will also divest part of their ownership stake to Warburg Pincus as part of the transaction.

N Adikesavulu Reddy, chairman, NDR Group, said: “We are confident that our new partnership with global private equity firms like Warburg Pincus will help us rapidly develop, create and offer the best feasible national network of logistics infrastructure facilities in India.”
