The domestic water purifier market in India is likely touch Rs 7,000 crore by 2015 from the current level of Rs 3,200 crore.
“The segment has been growing at a compounded annual growth rate (CAGR) of about 25%,” leading water purifier solutions company Kent RO Systems chairman Mahesh Gupta said here today.
He said the growth was driven by rising sales of low-cost variants due to extreme shortage of drinking water across India. Gupta was in town to launch company’s latest product line in Uttar Pradesh. “We have a market share of 40% in India,” he informed.
