Total sales stood at Rs 1096.7 crore for the period, 34 per cent higher than the Rs817.3 crore posted during the corresponding quarter in the previous year."We take pride to be able to deliver more than what we have promised to our stakeholders with each passing quarter," said B K Goenka, vice chairman and managing director of Welspun.The highlight of the quarter was the Company bagging world's single largest order worth $545 million from US, taking the order book position to over Rs 7200 crore, with a growth of 60 per cent during the quarter, said a press release.
