Welspun-Gujarat Stahl Rohren has bagged an order worth Rs 1,075 crore for the supply of spiral pipes in Northern Africa.According to a release issued by Welspun to the BSE today, this contract was won against competition from players in Europe and the new order has taken the company's order book position to above Rs 5,900 crore."Welspun's strong demonstration of engineering excellence and accreditations from top oil and gas companies across the world results in new orders and reinstates our position as one of the largest and premium line pipe company in the world.
