Wipro Q3 consolidated net up 27%Our Web Bureau / Mumbai January 18, 2006Wipro's Q3 net profit has increased 27.3% on a year-on-year basis.According to a release issued by Wipro to the BSE, the consolidated net profit for the quarter ended December 2005 rose to Rs 543.50 crore when compared with Rs 426.80 crore in the corresponding quarter a year ago.The Q3 total revenue was up 30% at Rs 2,743.90 crore from Rs 2,110.10 crore.Wipro, in its outlook for the quarter ending March 31, 2006, has said that it is likely to report 7.8% quarter-on-quarter growth in income from the global IT business.Azim Premji, chairman of Wipro, said: "The results for the quarter signal the next phase in Wipro
