Wockhardt launches Midazolam injection in US

Wockhardt has launched Midazolam injection in the United States, the company informed Bombay Stock Exchange.

The company had received the US Food and Drug Administration approval for marketing this injection, used for treating acute insomnia and anxiety.

The total market for Midazolam injections in the US is estimated at $56 million. The injections are manufactured at the company’s plant in Waluj, Maharashtra.
