WWICS to open 10 overseas offices shortly

WWICS (World Wide Immigration Consultancy Services) is planning to open at least 10 overseas offices in next 2-3 months. The new offices would be opened in Malyasia, Singapore, the Phillipines, West Asian countries like Saudi Arabi and Qatar etc.

At present, the company has 40 offices spread across the country and more than 10 overseas offices, ie in Kathmandu, Middle East, Columbo, Nairobi, Kampala, Trinidad and Tobaggo, etc.

Speaking to Business Standard, WWICS Chairman & Managing Director Colonel B S Sandhu said, "Canada needs immigrants to respond to demographic factors like low birthrate. There are at least 2000 companies in Canada who are facing manpower crunch in almost every profession and are therefore looking at recruiting more. So, there is an immense demand of skilled as well as semi-skilled individual in Canada. As per the industry figures, there is annual demand of 3 lakh manpower in Canada. Also, as Canada is hosting World Winter Sports in 2010, there is a huge demand of construction workers apart from driver and manpower for health care and hospitality sector."

He said not only Canada but Europe was also facing manpower crunch, so there was demand.

"So in order to fill the gap we are planning to open offices abroad. In next 2-3 months we would we opening offices in Malaysia, China, Singapore, Phillipines, Middle East like Saudi Arabi and Qatar. Also, we have plan to open our offices in Bangladesh, west and South Africa. The process has been already initiated, " he further added.

In the last 13 years, the company claimed it has placed more than 30,000 to emigrate to countries like Canada, Australia, New Zealand, United Kingdom and US. WWICS services package include skilled worker immigration, Canadian citizenship, global business ventures, corporate transfers, H-1 visas for professionals, work permits, family class visa, student visa, working holiday maker visa, visitor visa, judicial review against erroneous rejections, and all other immigration and citizenship matters.

The company through its placement division, Global Placement Services (GPS), also sends professionals from India. GPS has tied up with Canadian, Australian and various other European companies for placement.

Also, the company is planning to make its Canadian Institute for International Studies (CIIS) which is spread over 30 acres in Fategarh Sahib(Punjab) as a private university.

"The Institute helps the students or professionals adjust to Canada when we send them there," Sandhu informed.
