YouTube to show more local language content

If you are a frequent visitor to YouTube, most likely you would have seen video recommendations by YouTube based on your search results. It may be music, comedy, interviews or a funny video. We are all guilty of binge watching a whole night that started with a 30-second cute dog or cat video at some point of our life. As if this is not enough, YouTube, starting today, will show more content on home in your local language like Bengali, Gujarati, Hindi, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Punjabi, Tamil and Telugu, so that you don't miss anyt new and exciting clips. 

The video suggestion is based on your search history and location but you are also free to change the preference. Also, you can keep a tab on trending videos in your language.  '

This additional feature will help YouTube to net local audience and drive engagement. Besides, it would help YouTube to target advertisers from a particular region and fill its kitty with ad revenue.
