Zee Entertainment Enterprises Ltd, India's leading television, media and entertainment company, has posted 18 per cent rise in consolidated net profit at Rs 616.56 crore for the financial year ended March 31, 2010 as compared to Rs 522.11 crore in the previous year.
Total consolidated income during the year was reported at Rs 2,321.79 crore as compared to Rs 2,334.53 crore in last year.
On consolidated basis, however, net profit of the company rose sharply to Rs 558.84 crore for the financial year ending March 31, 2010 as compared to Rs 309.74 crore in the previous year. Total income increased from Rs 1,315.33 crore to Rs 1,384.92 crore.
