Zee Telefilms has posted a 16% jump in its consolidated net profit to Rs 317.48 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 273.08 crore for the year ended March 31, 2004. Total income has increased from Rs 1436.06 crore in FY-04 to Rs 1449 crore for the year ended March 31, 2005.According to a release issued to the BSE, the group has posted a 2% increase in consolidated net profit to Rs 92.69 crore for the fourth quarter ended March 31, 2005 as compared to Rs 90.85 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Total income has decreased from Rs 410.49 crore in Q4-04 to Rs 400.17 crore for the quarter ended March 31, 2005.Laxmi N Goel who was earlier a part time director has been appointed as whole time director of the company, the release added.
