Media and entertainment company Zee News (ZNL) reported net profit of Rs 5.72 crore for the quarter ended September 30,2007(Q2FY08).The total income during the quarter stood at Rs 77.6 crore.The company was listed on the Bombay Stock Exchange and National Stock Exchange on January 12, 2007 therefore comparable figures are not available. ZNL operates TV channels like Zee News, Zee Business, Zee Marathi, Zee Bangla, Zee Punjabi, Zee Gujarati, Zee 24 Taas, Zee Kannada and Zee Telugu.
