Zenith Birla (India), the flagship company of the Yash Birla Group (YBG), has posted 41 per cent rise in net profit at Rs 3.86 crore in the first quarter of the current fiscal as compared to Rs 2.73 crore in the corresponding quarter of the last year.
The steel pipes and cutting tools manufacturer and seller in India, the company recorded 17.38 increase in its income at Rs 139.66 crore from Rs 118.98 crore in the quarter under review. In the same period, sales were up 11 per cent and EBITDA by 108 per cent as compared to the corresponding period of the last year.
Steel pipes produced by Zenith Birla are used in various applications, including water and gas, line pipes, structural pipes, conveyor idlers, bore well casings, scaffolding tubes, electric poles, telecommunications, conduits, precision tubes, and automobile chassis.
The cutting tools are known for its DAGGER brand have large range of drills, reamers, taps, jobbers etc are widely accepted for both Industrial and non-industrial use. It also exports its products primarily to the United States, Middle East, Africa, and Europe. The company has a more than 500 number of strong dealer/sub dealer network in India.
