The company, which opened its 26,000-sft office in Hyderabad on Wednesday, currently houses 260 professional. It is planning to double the headcount in due course, he said.

“Across India and across many different verticals, SMEs are growing faster than big companies at the rate of 30 to 35 per cent, while big companies are growing slow at 10 to 15 per cent only. But SMEs have constraints in terms of limited reserves. Hence, their expansion is restricted due to non availability of reserve funds for their expansion. So, governments must come forward to the rescue of SMEs to tie up their cash flow problems,” he said.
Chowdary appealed to the Union government as well as the respective state governments to set aside some fund — Rs 200 crore — to help SMEs to support their expansions, to enable SMEs to access soft loans without any collaterals and allow them to grow faster.
Bollu said ZebQ was planning to increase its employer strength to 1,000 in the next three to four years.
