During the period its revenue went up by 16.8% from same period last year to Rs 756.43 crore. on Sequential basis, the revenue grew by 7.4% while net profit rose by 21.2% during the quarter.
"This has been a quarter of robust growth for Zensar on all fronts, with retail and ecommerce significantly fueling the growth through new client acquisitions in our chosen territories." said Ganesh Natarajan, vice chairman and chief executive officer of Zensar Technologies.
Revenue from digital and ecommerce application of Zesar crossed over 15% of its total revenue during the quarter. Its e-commerce support platform Professional Access had an exceptional quarter with significant wins in all territories, said Nitin Parab, head of enterprise transformation services division of Zensar.
Earlier this month private equity firm Apax Partners bought 23.2% stake in Zensar Technologies from Electra, a London-listed private equity company. Zensar had said the change of hands in stakes would boost its client list in the region.
In its quarterly report, the Pune-based firm said its revenue from Europe rose to become 12% of total revenue from 10% last quarter, while US revenue declined to 74% from 78% in the previous quarter.
