Zoho Corporation is expecting its headcount to touch 3,000 in the next financial year, led by strong business growth.

The company currently has around 2,800 workers, majority of them in Chennai. It is in advanced stages of shifting its office to a fully-owned premise, which it had bought two years before from L&T for over Rs 200 crore, said Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho Corporation.

Speaking about the company's new premises, Sridhar Vembu, CEO of Zoho Corporation said the company had bought around 25 acre land, with a bucket-shaped building, for over Rs 200 crore two years back and has completed the construction during the period.

More than 75 per cent of the employees at its existing facility in DLF IT Park, Chennai, have been shifted to the new facility, and the rest would be joining over a period of time, he said.
