Zubin Dubash quits Indian Hotels

Zubin Dubash, executive director ""finance of Indian Hotels Company, has put in his papers. The company today informed the Bombay Stock Exchange that Dubash tendered his resignation, which will be effective September 6.
 
Dubash is a qualified chartered accountant from the Institute of Chartered Accountants, London, UK and is an MBA from the Wharton School of Business, University of Pennsylvania, USA. Prior to joining the Taj group, he was a director of Tata Financial Services ( a division of Tata Sons, the holding company of the Rs 54,000 crore Tata group).
 
In January 1999, the 44-year-old Dubash moved to Taj group in charge of the finance portfolio. He was redesignated in April 1999 as executive director""finance and planning.
 
Dubash was involved for the Taj group's acquisition of the Regent hotel in Mumbai, now known as Taj Lands End as well as the for the group's air catering joint venture with Singapore Airport Terminal Services.
