Net profit rose 30 per cent to Rs 39.4 crore (Rs 30.3 crore). An increase in the net margin to 12.4 per cent compared with 10.6 per cent last year comes in spite of the company providing 50 per cent more for depreciation and 84 per cent more for income tax, at Rs 13.2 crore and Rs 9.5 crore, respectively, in second quarter.
