The Ahmedabad-based Zydus Cadila Healthcare Ltd has decided to spend at least Rs 42 crore by March, 2003 end, which is 7 per cent of its turn over of Rs 588 crore during the fiscal year ended March, 2002.
The pharmaceuticals giant, which owns a research centre on the outskirts of the city on a built up area of about 1,80,000 square feet, also plans to focus on designing new molecular entities, as a part of its ongoing drug discovery programme.
