The Vishrantwadi police station on Thursday booked Neeraj Kumar Jha, Bhavana Dixit and Tarun Sharma, all directors of B N Software Technology, Chikhali, and Loksagar Kumar Priya, head of department.
Ganesh Kshirsagar, 24, a former employee of the company had filed the complaint against the three directors.
Speaking to Business Standard, Sub-inspector Sunil Giri said, “Three directors of B N Technologies have been charged for allegedly cheating 102 trainee software engineers by not paying their salaries of more then Rs 2.96 crore since October, 2013. We are investigating the case and till date no one has been arrested. We are in the process of recording their statements for determining the actual amount of fraud. The employees have complained that they had paid amounts ranging from Rs 50,000 to Rs 1 lakh to a consultancy firm for undergoing six months training in the software company on the assurance that they would be given permanent jobs with incentives.”

Jha and three others have been booked for allegedly committing an offence under sections 420 (cheating), 406 (criminal breach of trust) read with 34 (common intention) of the Indian Penal Code.
The directors of B N Technologies were not available for the comment. Currently, Neeraj Kumar Jha is in Jharkhand.
