When Divya Jain decided to jump the skilling bandwagon she decided to do it a little differently: by using containers to create a mobile classroom.
Her company Safeducate, the education arm of logistics firm Safexpress, is in the process of operationalising this concept (of using containers schools) to create mobile classrooms.
The company has re-modeled used 40-feet truck containers into full classrooms where students can be taught as well as be given practical lessons.
Besides low cost, the advantage of this model is that it can reach the remotest location of the country and still provide students with a standardised class environment.

Jain has set up her first school in Ambala, Haryana which will be operational next week.
"More such schools will be set across the country, in a way taking education to the students in their villages and home towns instead of asking students to come to us."
Going forward, Safeducate plans to train over 1,00,000 people in the next 10 years. Safeducate has 20 strategically located learning centres across the country, within the logistics parks and hubs to facilitate industry practical trainings and simulations.
