Senior BJP leader L K Advani on Wednesday said if the rivers in India are linked as dreamt by former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee then no farmer in the country would remain without water for irrigation.
"When Vajpayee was PM, the river-linking scheme was framed so that no farmer would remain devoid of water for his fields," Advani said.
