The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE), on behalf of University Grants Commission (UGC), will be conducting the National Eligibility Test (NET) on July 10, 2016. Candidates, who have applied for the examination, can download their admit cards made available on the official website cbsenet.nic.in.
How to download UGC NET July 2016 admit card
The candidates will have to:
1. Log on to the official website cbsenet.nic.in
2. Click on 'Download Admit Card' tab

3. Login with application number and password generated during registration
4. Download the admit card on the screen
5. Take a print out for future reference
The candidates need to carry the admit card print out to the examination centre, else they would not be allowed to appear for the test.
Examination conducted by the CBSE for UGC, NET determines the eligibility of Indian national for the post of Assistant Professor both in Indian universities and colleges. Candidates applying for Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) also need to appear for the NET to be eligible to pursue research in the subject of their post-graduation or a related subject.
CBSE will conduct NET in 83 subjects and at 89 select NET examination cities across the country. The JRF award and/or eligibility for Assistant Professor post will depend on the performance of the candidate in all three papers of NET.
The universities, institutions, IITs and other national organizations may select the JRF awardees for whole time research work. However, the candidates qualifying exclusively for Assistant Professor will not be considered for award of JRF.
