As rains lashed Gurgaon and normal life came to a standstill, political leaders of the region, fought a different kind of battle.

Haryana Chief Minister ML Khattar, Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal and Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi were involved in blame game on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Khattar’s chopper was not able to take off from Chandigarh to inspect the flood-hit areas due to bad weather.

Khattar, on his part, tweeted to Kejriwal, blaming him for the situation and lack of cooperation.

The Delhi CM, in his response, retweeted a number of tweets, blaming the Centre for the lack of infrastructure.

Meanwhile, Gandhi sent out a message on the ‘awful ordeal’ that commuters have to go through.
