Seeing the trend among CAT aspirants, the Indian Institutes of Management (IIMs) have extended the deadline for submission of application forms by five days.
"The primary reason for the extension is to facilitate the applicants who are still in the process of completing their applications. There are many applicants in this stage, and we have been getting a lot of requests from them," said Rajendra K Bandi, Convenor, CAT 2016.
Among the IIMs, IIM Bangalore is conducting the test this year. Last year, CAT registrations closed at 218,664.
