The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has questioned Dera Sacha Sauda chief Gurmeet Ram Rahim Singh over a complaint filed by Hansraj Chauhan, alleging that the former castrated around 400 of his followers at his Sirsa ashram.
Former Dera follower Chauhan had claimed in a petition that he and 400 others were castrated by doctors at the Sirsa ashram on Ram Rahim's command.
The CBI initiated probe in the matter on a directive, issued by the Punjab and Haryana High Court in 2014.
Earlier, police arrested two close aides of the Dera chief to find that their testicles had been removed.
The probe agency had also recorded statements of two doctors for their alleged role in carrying out forced castrations.
Singh is currently serving a 20-year sentence at Rohtak prison after a Haryana court held him guilty in a rape case.
