The weather in most parts of Uttarakhand was clear today with intermittent rains reported in few places causing landslides and blocking of roads including the Rishikesh-Badrinath highway.
The weather has been clear in most areas while intermittent rains were reported at few places, the officials at Uttarakhand Disaster Management and Mitigation Centre said.
The traffic was disrupted on the Rishikesh-Gangotri highway near Dharasu-Nalupani in Uttarkashi district due to landslides, they said.
The water level of rivers including Bhagirathi and Alkananda has also been on a rise due to continuous rains at several places in Uttarkashi and Chamoli districts. The administration is monitoring the water level, they said.
