Union Minister and Punjab chief of the Bharatiya Janta Party (BJP), Vijay Sampla, said that "Congress is unable to digest the brave decisions made by the Modi government" on Ocotber 10.
He said, "The Congress is unable to digest the brave decisions made by the Modi government, which is why Rahul Gandhi is pointing fingers at the BJP rather than looking into Congress' past".
Attacking the Prime Minister, Gandhi had earlier told in a rally that the Indian Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, was exploiting the the Indian army by engaging in a bloodbath and sponsoring strikes.
Congress has blood on its hands and everyone is aware of the 1984 Sikh massacre in Delhi and other parts of the country, Sampla said while reiterating that politics is just a medium for social service for the BJP.
Lauding the army for conducting surgical strikes, he said, "Army and PM Modi deserve applause for giving a befitting reply to Pakistan and the nation is proud of this action. I hope that Pakistan learns a lesson from this military operation and dare not repeat such mistakes."
"Punjab is a border state and thousands of brave jawans from Punjab are serving in the Indian Army. There are lakhs of Punjabi youths who want to join the Army", he said.

"Jinhone Hindustan ke liye surgical strike kiye hain, unke khoon ke peeche aap chhupe hain. Unki aap dalali kar rahe ho. Yeh bilkul galat hai. {You (Modi) are hiding behind the blood of soldiers in Jammu and Kashmir and those who carried out the surgical strikes for India. You are exploiting their sacrifices, which is very wrong}," said Gandhi.
