Union Urban Development and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Kamal Nath today exuded confidence that Congress would win more than 140 seats in the state Assembly elections held today.
"Congress would get more than 140 seats in the polls," Nath told reporters after casting his vote at Shikarpur polling station in Chhindwara district.
Election for 230-member House was held today.
Nath said Congress would end ruling BJP government's ten-year-long tenure of "corruption" after coming to power and work for the welfare of all sections of society including women and youths.
