The Eamcet Admission Committee, which on Wednesday announced the notification for taking up the admission process from August 7-23, is working towards facilitating a smooth counselling by engaging both the governments in a dialogue irrespective of the Supreme Court's hearing on the matter on Monday next week.
The committee will have another round of meeting with the officials of both the states next week to solve the deadlock.
"This time we are confident of participation from the Telangana government officials and have received a positive response from them," said K Sateesh Reddy, secretary of Andhra Pradesh State Council for Higher Education (APSCHE).
Meanwhile, Academic Committee and APSCHE chairman L Venugopal Reddy today met Andhra Pradesh chief secretary IYR Krishna Rao with regard to the committee's implead petition in the apex court on the Telangana government's petition for delaying the admission process till October 2. APSCHE is expected to file the implead petition in the apex court tomorrow.

The move comes on the heels of Telangana government's accusation that the committee's decision was not inclusive and it was following the directives of the Andhra Pradesh government in kickstarting the counselling process.
