The investment process in the mineral-rich Chhattisgarh had been digitalized as the state government had programmed to facilitate industrialists to execute formalities at the click of the mouse.
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Raman Singh Monday launched the website that would help the investors for easy business in the state. The website would be under the control of State Investment Promotion Board (SIPB).
According to industry department officials, the investors would now apply for land and other clearances on line; could access its status and get the order from the authorities concern online. The land allotment process for the industries would be online and the allotment letter would also be posted through digital system.
He also dedicated new 'WI-Fi' services at six locations in the state capital. Singh distributed 10 Tablets to students free-of-cost under the 'Chhattisgarh Yuva Soochna Kranti Yojana'. About 50,000 students would be given tablets and the final year Engineering and Medical College students will be given Laptops.
Singh said the Information Technology Revolution had helped the common citizens in saving time and cost. The State Government had through the Lok Seva Kendras had been providing Online services at Tehsil and district headquarters. The services would reach upto the panchayats' soon. He said the 10,000 panchayats would go Online by 2019.
