Gera launches child-centric homes

Child-centric homes will include celebrity academies to coach children professionally in over 15 disciplines

Despite lull in the real estate market, the developres are finding new ways to sell their products. City Gera Developers has come up with a concept of child-centric homes which includes celebrity academies to coach children professionally in over 15 disciplines.

These include sports, arts, music, dance, dramatics, public speaking and painting. This can be experienced in Song of Joy at Gera's GreensVille, Kharadi in Pune and will soon expand into Bangalore. The company has signed up few Indian celebrities offering the intellectual, physical and vocational coaching in the housing society premises. Shankar Mahadevan for music, Shiamak Davar for dance, Viswanathan Anand for chess, Mahesh Bhupati for tennis, Anil Kumble for cricket and Dale Carnegie for personality development along with other tie-ups for swimming, arts, and dramatics.

It has a five-year contract with each of them and each academy will have its own premises on the project where children will be personally coached by professional teams.

The new concept of Child Centric homes is launched in Pune and Bangalore. The first Child Centric homes development in Pune will be Song of Joy, at Gera's Greensville, Kharadi and will comprise of 1230 sq. ft. two bedroom and 1660 sq. ft. three bedroom apartments.

Speaking about this concept, Rohit Gera, chairman, Gera Developments said, "The launch of Child Centric TM Homes will create a paradigm shift in the real estate for both, the developer as well as the home buyer. We have established a new category of living spaces designed keeping the child of the home as well as the parent's lifestyles in mind. It creates more time for children by eliminating travel time to and from various classes. It helps to reduce the stress in the lives of the parents and allays child safety concerns since facilities are available on campus and most importantly ChildCentric homes offer the opportunity to build better relationships amongst parents and children."
