With serpentine queues in front of ATMs stretching across the country after demonetisation, Google seems to have taken notice too.
On the Google search homepage, there is a direct link to find ATMs near you. However, once you click on it, it merely redirects you to the Google Map feature of 'find ATMs near you' which has always been a feature. Moreover, unlike other apps and websites, Google is not giving you any information about the crowd, cash availability or working condition of the ATM.
All it does is gives you a direct link to the Map.
Apart from Google, cashnocash.com gives a list of ATMs based on the pincode search and you can find it has cash or not or you have to wait in the line for it.
Another crowdsourced website called atmsearch.in created by a twitter handle named @WoCharLog tells whether the ATM it is working and an approximate number of people waiting in line.

All you need to do is enter the locality in the search box and it throws up the status of ATMs in that area and tells you when it was last updated. You can also update the situation of ATM you know by entering the landmark, bank name and the number of people waiting at the ATM.
Although it’s very difficult to say how accurate the result is, people applauded and thanked the creator for the effort @WoCharLog has put in.
Also, atmfinder.cms.com, a website of ATM network management company CMS, gives details of ATM found in different cities in India. But this is not as comprehensive as the atmsearch.in and doesn't show real time or current picture of the ATM nearby.
