For elderly, differently-abled

The government has recommended that Covid vaccination centres be set up closer home for those aged over 60 and differently-abled citizens following a community-based, flexible and people-centric approach.

Vaccination sessions could be organised at community centres, resident welfare association centres, panchayat ghar, school buildings or old age homes, among others. Once identified and verified for meeting central vaccination centre (CVC) criteria, all such sites will be registered on the CoWIN portal as near-to-home centres and linked to existing CVCs.
