The Mumbai rains have made a comeback after two weeks. Heavy showers have been lashing the financial capital since last night leading to delays in suburban train services.

The met department predicts Mumbai and surrounding areas along the Konkan coast are likely to receive isolated to heavy rain in the next few days, owing to specific change in weather patterns, says a Hindustan Times report.

The long distance trains towards Gujarat have been affected since 5am, which are stranded or running slow between Virar and Borivali. There is also some waterlogging on Central line near Sion and Kalyan stations, says a Mid-Day report. Train services on the western railway network have also been hit between bandra and churchgate.

Citizens are sharing photos of the heavy rain on the social media from various parts of Mumbai. We bring you some of the tweets that display the havoc the rain is creating.
