I will not step down since I am not disqualified: N Srinivasan

Srinivasan also refused to comment on Meyiappan, his son-in-law, being chargesheeted today

N Srinivasan, vice chairman, India Cements, which owns Chennai super Kings has said that he will not step aside as the President of BCCI. He further said as he did not see the charge sheet filed against Meyiappan so he will not be able to comment.
 
Speaking to reporters today, Srinivasan, who is also the father-in-law of Gurunath Meyiappan, who has been charge sheeted today by the Mumbai Police in an alleged IPL fixing scandal, said that "I am not disqualified, why I should  step down".
 
He said that as the matter is subjudicie he will not be able to comment anything more, adding that "let the Supereme Court take the decision.
 
Srinivasan further said, "i will be asking the Secretary of BCCI to take appropriate steps. If he (Gurunath) is wrong let the law take the stand".
