IIMC entrance exam results 2016 to be declared today

The interview process for the PG Diploma Courses 2016-17 will begin from the first week of July

The Indian Institute of Mass Communication (IIMC), Delhi is scheduled to announce the results of the entrance examination for its post graduate (PG) diploma courses 2016-17 on Friday, June 24, 2016, later in
the evening. The results will be declared on the official website www.iimc.nic.in. The interview process for various courses will reportedly commence from the first week of July.

Established in 1969, the premier institute for journalism works under the I&B Ministry.The annual entrance examination, conducted to select students for various PG courses, was held on May 29 and May 30, 2016.

Candidates can check their results on the official website after they are declared.

  • Click on the link for PG diploma courses 2016-17 results in the ‘News
  • and Announcement’ section
  • Enter the required details
  • Take a print-out of the results displayed on the screen
Candidates who have successfully cleared the entrance examination will be called for personal interview/group discussion.

The institute started small, offering a number of specialised short courses of one week to three months’ duration to train communication professionals.Over the years, IIMC has expanded and now offers regular PG diploma courses.

In the last decade, IIMC has opened it's centres at Dhenkanal in Orissa, Amravati in Maharashtra, Aizawl in Mizoram, Jammu in J&K and Kottayam in Kerala.

IIMC, Delhi currently offers:

  • Hindi)
  • Postgraduate Diploma Course in Advertising and Public Relations
  • (English and Hindi)
  • Diploma Course in Journalism (Urdu)
After successful completion of course, several IIMC alumni have got placements in newspapers, news channels and media houses, as well as advertising and public relations agencies.
