Tamil Nadu Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa continues to be under monitoring by specialist doctors, said Apollo Hospital.
In a statement, the hospital, where the 68-year old leader was admitted, said that she is under constant monitoring by intensivists and consultants in the panel.
“The respiratory support is closely watched and adjusted. Lungs decongestion treatment is being continued. All other comprehensive measures including nutrition, supportive therapy and passive physiotherapy are underway,” the hospital statement informed.
Opposition Party leader M K Stalin on Saturday went to Apollo Hospital to meet J Jayalalithaa, who was admitted since September 22.
Stalin, who is the senior leader of the DMK which is the main rival of the AIADMK, visited the hospital in the evening along with two of the senior leaders.
Stalin met the doctors and AIADMK Ministers including Finance Minister O Paneeselvam, Thambidurai and others.
"We wish that she will recover fast and resume her work," wished Stalin.
