The Joint Entrance Examination (Main) for admission to undergraduate courses at the Indian Institutes of Information Technology, National Institutes of Technology and other Centre-funded technical institutes 2014 was held on Sunday.
Organised by the Central Board of Secondary Education, the offline multiple-choice test had 90 questions - 30 each from physics, chemistry and mathematics - for 360 marks . The online examination will be held on Wednesday, Friday and Saturday.
The results will be declared on May 3. Those who clear the test will also be eligible to appear for the advanced test for admission to the 15 Indian Institutes of Technology.
