Security forces are yet to make a breakthrough in tracking down those involved in the twin terrorist attacks in Jammu and Kashmir's Rajouri district as a massive cordon and search operation continues for over 10 days.

Over 60 people have been questioned by the police in connection with the terror attacks that left seven people dead and 14 others injured in Dhangri village in Rajouri, sources said.

Capital markets regulator Sebi on Friday levied a fine of Rs 15 lakh on Roselabs Finance for flouting market norms in the matter of Gujarat Arth Ltd (GAL).

The order came after the Securities Appellate Tribunal (SAT) in its ruling in December 2022 set aside Sebi's December 2019 order, wherein a penalty of Rs 2.5 crore was imposed on noticee (Roselabs) for violating PFUTP (Prohibition of Fraudulent and Unfair Trade Practices) rules and SAST (Substantial Acquisition of Shares and Takeovers) norms.

SJVN to set up 90 MW floating solar project at Rs 650 crore

State-owned SJVN will set up a 90 MW floating solar project in Omkareshwar, Madhya Pradesh at an investment of Rs 650 crore.

The project is scheduled to be commissioned by December 2023. Chairman and Managing Director Nand Lal Sharma performed bhumi pujan at the project site for the commencement of engineering, procurement and construction (EPC) work of the project at Omkareshwar Reservoir.

The National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) of the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) has released satellite images of Joshimath and a preliminary report on land subsidence which shows that the entire town may sink. The pictures are taken from the Cartosat-2S satellite. Hyderabad-based NRSC has released satellite images of areas that are sinking. In images, the entire town, including the Army's helipad and the Narasimha temple, has been marked as sensitive zone.

MV Ganga Vilas is the first-ever cruise vessel to be made in India and it began its journey from Varanasi in Uttar Pradesh and will reach Dibrugarh in Assam via Bangladesh.
 
The beginning of the cruise service on river Ganga is a landmark moment and it will herald a new age of tourism in India, the Prime Minister said and invited foreign tourists to come to India and explore the vibrancy of the country.
