LIVE news updates: More than 100 shops were gutted in a massive fire in the wholesale market of the Bhagirath Palace area in Chandni Chowk on Friday even as the cooling operations are currently underway, police said. Five major buildings were also affected during the fire-fighting operations, out of which three have collapsed, officials said.

G20: First tourism track meeting to be held in Rann of Kutch

Preparations for the G20 meetings in India are on course and the first meeting under the tourism track will be held in the picturesque Rann of Kutch in Gujarat, a top official said on Friday. 15-year-old govt vehicles will be scrapped: Nitin Gadkari

Union minister Nitin Gadkari on Friday said all vehicles belonging to the Indian government that have completed 15 years will be scrapped, and a policy to that effect has been sent to states. He was speaking at the inauguration of the annual 'Agro-Vision' agriculture exhibition here. "Yesterday, I signed a file under the guidance of Prime Minister Narendra Modi that all the vehicles of the Indian government which have completed 15 years will be scrapped. I have sent this policy of the Indian government to all the states. They should adopt this policy at the state level," he said.
