IRCTC to resume cooked food in all trains from February 14

The Indian Railway Catering and Tourism Corporation Limited (IRCTC) is all set to resume the services of cooked food in trains as Covid restrictions ease across India.
 
Of the total number of trains, cooked foods had already been resumed in 30% since December 2021, 80% in January 2022 and remaining 20% shall be restored by February 14 2022.

Building collapses in north Delhi, 2 women pulled out of debris

Two women were pulled out of the debris of a building which collapsed in north Delhi's Bawana area on Friday afternoon and efforts are on to rescue others who are underneath the rubble, police said.

The fire department officials received information about the incident at 2.48 pm, following which three to four fire tenders rushed to the spot.

Live news updates:  The government has the "sovereign right" to tax profit made from cryptocurrency transactions, said Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman on Friday. A decision on the legality of cryptocurrencies will be taken later.

"I am not going to legalise it or ban it at this stage. Banning or not banning will come subsequently, when consultations give me input," she said in Rajya Sabha where she was speaking about her Budget proposals.

India reported 58,077 new cases of Covid-19 and deaths from the disease in the last 24 hours, said the health ministry on Friday.
