The notification for counselling to undergraduate medical course (MBBS) admissions in 45 colleges offering around 6,000 seats in both Telangana and Andhra Pradesh is likely be released on August 22.
The respective government order notifying the candidate tuition fee, total seats available in the management quota among others would be released on August 21.
"We are anticipating government orders notifying the admissions tomorrow, following which the university would release the notification," said Ravi Raju, vice chancellor of Dr NTR University of Health Sciences, the designated university to take up common admissions this year.
The notification is also expected to clear doubts on the hike in tuition fee and raising the share of seats under the management quota.
Private colleges have been slugging out hard with the Admission and Fee Regulatory Committee (AFRC) for a revision in fee structure.
The AFRC recommends government on renewing the fee structure every three years and a revision is due this year.
While the Telangana government, in its consultations with the AFRC, said it was against hiking the tuition fee, the Andhra government has not made its stand clear on this.
