Students seeking admissions in the University of Mumbai’s (MU’s) first year (FY) degree courses can heave a sigh of relief. MU has extended the deadline for submission of forms for degree college admissions till Friday, June 24, 2016. With this extension, the new academic session (2016-2017) is likely to start on July 5.
Although the MU is working on resolving glitches in the official website, students have been complaining about slow server speed and other errors. The newly implemented online registration process is still facing some teething troubles. According to MU officials, about 2.5 lakh students are expected to enrol in degree courses this year.
Procedure for FY-degree Admission 2016-2017
Student seeking admission to the FY degree courses in any college under MU need to register themselves for the university’s application enrolment process by logging on to www.mu.ac.in. Only after obtaining application / registration form number, students can apply to a college for admission.
The students should duly fill pre-admission online registration form and college application, get at least two copies of both printed, and submit them in college by June 25, 2010.
